Children's Sports

With the rapid growth of Harris County´s population, the Harris County Recreation Department is hard at work to provide recreation opportunities for the children of the county. The department provides programs for over 2,000 children (ages 4-18) with the help of nearly 300 volunteers. Programs include Little League Baseball/Softball, Babe Ruth Baseball (for teenage boys), football, cheerleading, basketball and soccer. Activities are held at several beautiful locations, including Charles Moultrie Park (a 29-acre baseball/softball complex), the 34-acre Harris County Soccer Complex, Pine Mountain Valley Park, the Carver Resource Center and E.C. Pate Park.
